christmas was only some 6 weeks ago but better late than never right?
adam and i spent 10 days in perth over christmas and new year where we relaxed, drank and ate way too much and caught up with family & friends.
most days the weather was around 40 degrees... a tad HOTter from what we're used to here in sydney.
my dad took the whole time off from work which is unheard of for him, it was so nice to see him relax. he potted around in the garden every day and some of my favorite photos from christmas are these from when cruz took the hose out his hand and ran around spraying him...

cruz loved the train they had set up in santa land, he went on it countless times whilst dym & i waited in the line to see santa.

on boxing day adam's mum, anita, her partner jon and friend trina drove up from down south to have a bbq at mum & dad's place.

tuesday 28th december
dad drove mum, adam & i down to donnybrook where anita and jon live, we stopped along the way for fruit, jams and other goodies alike. anita and jon made a delicious lunch of spinach filos, corn fritters with cream friache and caramelized onion tarts all washed down with some moet and donnybrook's own apple cider which we've both been craving since christmas.

we had a nice relaxed nye. claire and gaz came over for canapes and drinks. dym made a gorgeous watermelon and mint cocktail and we feasted on smoked salmon, grilled prawn skewers, fish mornay vol au vents, chicken drumettes and mum's famous sausage rolls.
a great end to 2010.
